The most curious thing about the Cammus C5 is that the DD motor itself is in the rim. This is something innovative that we have not seen in other Direct Drive steering wheels.

As for the assembly, first you have to screw two metal pieces on the cockpit or if it is in your case on a desk, on the desk and then put the clamps underneath.

In the flywheel base set that you can see that it is all looks like just a hoop. And the truth is that it takes very little time to assemble, a few minutes.

It’s actually AMAZING that it costs the same as a Logitech G29!!! It’s like 5 times better than a Logitech and you get it for the same price. Too bad this wheel wasn’t around when I started simracing.

As an improvement it would be nice if in the future they could put a quick release to be able to change the steering wheel and put another one with better characteristics.

Cammus C5 pedals

The design of the pedals is 100% metal is very well at the level of materials and have worked perfectly well for me.

I don’t have any problems with the basic level of use, they have not given me any failure and once calibrated they have done what they have to do at all times, but I have not been able to find a way to feel comfortable braking. You can’t ask for more for 30€ pedals.

The pedal travel is too long and the pedals are too flat. This second tilt can be remedied to some extent by tilting the base of the pedals yourself.

Cammus C5 PS5 Is it compatible?

Surprisingly enough, Cammus C5 can indeed be used on PS5, albeit with some nuances.

You can use Cammus C5 with PS5 using “resolution 2“. It works quite well and easy, but the FBB is quite soft. Resolution 2 emulates a G29 when you connect the Cammus C5. Just like on PS5 it can also be used on PS4.

This way you can play GT7 for example on playstation.
